Didn't get a chance to watch this episode until tonight, what with my Lucifer S4 watch.

I was a little confused as to whether Tyrone was in the real world or in the darkforce after his encounter with Andre (I mean, I thought he was in the real world, but when all the little girl dance students arrived on the trolley when Mayhem switched the record I wasn't sure if they were real or part of the record), but, this was another good episode. The stunt of Tyrone 'portal'ing himself into the hotel guard with all the force that the guy flung him away with was a good laugh.

I think the idea is that by playing various records in the darkforce, Andre (or in this case, Mayhem) can influence the person's perceptions, like a really extreme form of confirmation bias where you start seeing/hearing the thing you're already thinking about everywhere around you. Definitely felt like the ballerina girls were real though since they stuck around long enough to be puzzled after he poofed away.

Chantelle's studiously Switzerland-ish neutrality can be a little frustrating at times but I was glad she at least mildly called out Andre's bullshit about him being one of the good guys, even though he seems to have built pretty strong self-justifications for it all.

waaait is Chantelle really dead or just passed out? that wasn't clear. also, they had Andre yelling offscreen about Mayhem throwing and breaking the discs, but then nothing came of that?

I'm not sure what's happening with Ty, like maybe Andre played one last disc that incapacitated him in a last ditch effort? Definitely feels like a huge cliff hanger and I'm so anxious!

I think my confusion was because in the previous episode, Andre was doing all of his manipulation of Tandy while she was unconscious inside the ambulance. So I wasn’t sure if Tyrone had ever really left the building after his initial encounter with Andre or if his body was somewhere sleeping while his mind was going elsewhere.

Yeah I could see that. But it seems like his powers work much like Tandy and Tyrone, where he just needs to touch someone to enter the dark space and access their subconscious.
