I really enjoyed this two-part finale and the season overall.

"Wait, the group text thread is back?"
"No." "We misspoke."

Wunch is a legend. That is some justified revenge served cold.

I loved the scenes with the cannibal guy. Especially the Reddit jokes.

Good episodes! The Suicide Squad conceit was fun. My son has a weird affinity for two-parters, so he was pleased as punch.

I was quite alarmed at how quickly the stakes were ramping up. I like Holt's punishment at the end of the episode. He gifted that to her to win an argument.
I wonder how long it takes to write a holt/wunch conversation. Every volley reveals such creative inner minds at work in two otherwise reserved people. I'll bet that has to be a highlight of some writer's week.

Tim Meadows returning as Caleb was a highlight. “Jake! It’s so good to see you! Come give me a hug, I’m not going to eat you. Also, don’t hug me, ‘cause I will try to eat you.”

This wasn't my favorite season but this finale was thoroughly brilliant. As such I think it's probably the best one "proportionally" out of all the season finales.

I don't think I've ever seen a "So here's the plan" montage that shakes it up by revealing each shown vingette to actually derive from a different character's imagination rather than be the actual heist/scheme.

Holt saying "How did you pull this off?!" in response to the podium being moved was amazing. And then he recaps it to Kevin.

The food Holt eats when he is happy is dry beans.

CJ realizing that these people are not his closest friends "I'm thinking of different guys". OMG.

HOLT PUSHED WUNTCH INTO MICHELLE OBAMA AND RAN AWAY!!

LaToya Ferguson's review was so funny:
I am disappointed, however, that their fake lover story didn’t lead to Holt talking about the weight of her breasts. That is the one part that rang false.

What have we learned? That I love Captain Holt.

Two great episodes.

I was thinking about how I don't really like this new vicious, hyper-competitive Amy, and then I remembered complaining about not liking how they were starting to use Amy as a one-note nerd joke with her binders and organizing, and then I remembered also complaining about not liking how Gina was constantly dunking on her for no reason, so I guess in conclusion I wish they would just let Amy live.
