Vic meets another strong creative who gives her some advice. Manx receives an unexpected visitor.
OK I'm curious in the book if all the other "good" strong creatives are women.
Unless I'm misremembering, Vic, Maggie, and Manx are the only strong creatives we encounter. Maggie expects that there are others, but I don't remember seeing them? There's an implication that the villains from Stephen King's Doctor Sleep are similar to Manx. I haven't read the comics, though, and I understand that it's some kind of prequel-ish background story on Manx. Perhaps our skater creative comes from that material? Either way, she was new to me, but I liked it.

In the book Manx references one or two other ones he had run across and I think they were all bad sounding and dudes.
