I thought this episode was directed a lot more flat compared to other episodes. The energy really lagged and the Mad Hatter's Tea Party thing was poorly executed. I can't wait to say wot's wot about next weeks episode though!

Watching this episode is apparently the first time I ever mentioned to Mrs. Human how terrifying child-me found Tom Petty's Don't Come Around Here No More video. (Response: giggling incredulity/indulgence.)

That scene didn't push the same buttons as hard here, but Aubrey Plaza definitely leaned on them and produced some FH-specific creep factor.

I love it when the show gives Bill Irwin a chance to show off his clowning/dance skills, so, those bits were the highlight for me.
