I'm not finished with this one yet but I'm really enjoying it. The interaction with Vincent in the first half kind of exemplifies what I like best about the show - they could have killed him and it would have been a real grim dark moment, but instead they helped him and stayed to offer some emotional support, in a way that was kind and also funny.

I'm so glad I was listening to this alone because when I heard 'My Louboutins!' I straight up cackled.
And unexpected tears when Sheriff Owens was talking about loss. I needed to be reminded of that. This episode had all sorts of emotion for me I guess. I loved the little vignettes about what was happening in Kepler.

A little bit more space since this is the second comment:

AUBREY. So is she like a vessel? Sylvain reincarnated?
Also (as I was reminded on the tumblr) Dani telling Aubrey that she feels like home. Well eff, I thought it was a nice sentiment, not foreshadowing. I mean I should probably know better by now...

I'm also glad I listened alone because when Griffin said the Mothman has chitin, I wanted to swing a fist in rage.

Any bets on when this arc actually ends? In the spring, Griffin was indicating it would finish by June (which would not-particularly-coincidentally work well with the breaks they had to take to promote the book and attend conventions), now it's looking like September at the earliest, and that's without resorting to padding the schedule with live episodes.

I'm along for the ride here and part of me doesn't actually want it to end, but I'm kind of fascinated by how badly it's blowing some implied deadlines.

To be fair, that happened a lot with Balance, too. I feel like I remember a lot of ‘okay, THIS is the second to last episode, probably for sure this time’ towards the end of several storylines.

If you made a supercut of every time Griffin insisted an arc was ALMOST over this time, for real you guys!!, it would be fifteen minutes long.
