I was just working on a post for this show! I binged it last night and really, truly enjoyed every episode. I tried to love Fleabag, but while it is very, very funny, I found it too harsh and emotionally brutal to enjoy. This Way Up feels like a "kindlier, gentler" version of Fleabag. Also love Sharon Horgan who is perfect as the "responsible" sister. Could be a thankless role, but she brings such warmth and humor to it, she really really shines. I can't wait for Season 2!

Sharon Horgan is a treasure. If you haven't watched her in Catastrophe, treat yourself.

I agree, that this felt like a kinder, gentler Fleabag. The writing on both is excellent. The acting is really great. I really enjoy this kind of storytelling. Also, I too love Sharon Horgan.

Really enjoyed this. As an Irish woman of the same generation as Aisling Bea it was surprisingly validating to see characters that act like my friends and me.

The entire cast is fantastic, in the middle of binging it right now.

Aisling Bea is hilarious and very human.
