I'm about 1/4 through and I'm already loving the fun, loose dynamic of this party, with call backs to Vox Machina.

Highlights so far:

-- Tary's memoirs refer to Vex as "Little Elf Girl"? Or is that supposed to be Keyleth? It's clear neither of them ever read Tary's book or they'd have murdered him on the spot.

-- Tary requires his new members to fight each other... because that's how Vox Machina welcomed him into the group.

-- Also, Laura's one-on-one with Taliesin reminds me of that time the Mighty Nein dropped in on the Gentleman's fight club, and Jester immediately challenged Beau to a fist fight only to get her ass absolutely handed to her.

"Little Elf Girl" is how Tary referred to Vex from moment one. To her face. Keyleth was "Antlers". And at one point Pike did make him learn names. Two of the funniest scenes from C1, in my opinion, though it is disappointing to learn that he backslid in his memoirs.

Just finished this. It was hilarious and everyone was ridiculous. Nobody understands spells.

I'm wondering if that old woman and that stone are going to show up in Camapign 2 at all.
