With her son being held captive by a criminal gang, police-officer Amanda Doyle, together with her ex-husband and three unlikely allies, takes part in a desperate plot to hold a wealthy banker and his family to ransom. But this is no ordinary family.
I saw this last year at the Boston Science Fiction Film Festival and really enjoyed it, and I noticed it just hit Amazon Prime streaming. I think "Grabbers" is still the best SF/F Irish movie I've seen (which I also first saw at the Boston SF Film Fest), but this will make a good second best Irish SF/F genre movie.

OK so I watched it. I have to say I didn't find this as satisfying or original as Grabbers. I struggled with the pacing a lot.
The story reminded me of Society, which you haven't seen, is definitely worth watching although it's very different in style. (It's kind of a slapstick horror, if you can imagine that.) But it's definitely in the same "the rich are different" vein as this one.

True, Grabbers is far more fabulous. I haven't seen Society - I"ll check it out.

If you're particularly interested in Irish horror, you might check out From the Dark.
