The movie itself is good, but there's a conundrum at its heart: the victims here were the willing, active contributors to a hate-spewing propaganda machine that's currently destroying democracy. Perhaps it's the message here: there are no "lesser" victims, and we should still root for these women (which is made easier by the fact that they're sympathetically played by Theron/Kidman/Robbie), no matter who they were working for. That's interesting, but a little bit uncomfortable.
