Leverage: The Tap-Out Job

When a scheme against a crooked fight promoter goes awry, Eliot is forced to step into the ring.
Thought this was a solid episode. The team being a bit miffed that a small time meathead crook saw through their scheme was funny.
Nate and Sophie's personas felt a bit over the top this episode, especially Nate. Then again I've started watching these back to back because I'm trying to stay at home lately so any minor gripes I might have have been amplified.
Eliot's "aw shucks" character was pretty good, yeah. I enjoyed that as well.
People in town being fed up with villain-of-the-week's shit will always win me over too, so this episode's ringside doctor and The Bank Shot Job's bank manager pitching in is always a plus for me.

Taking the local temperature - yeah! But it felt a little too deus ex (ringside doctor).
Sophie was a little annoying, finally recognizing the awesomeness of pork rinds or not.
Was surprised when Nate seemingly gave up so easily - shouldn't have been. Neat commentary on data mining and mimicking social networks and actual social networks, though. Still relevant.

Oh god watching Parker choke Hardison until he's gasping and saying he can't breathe, but then she just keeps choking him... I just could. not. with that now.

Enjoyed Christian Kane acting as a non-actor acting convincingly (enough) to be a gentle giant-type who doesn't like hurting people, but truly loves competing against willing opponents.
