Schitt's Creek: Happy Ending
April 7, 2020 5:55 PM - Season 6, Episode 14 - Subscribe
David stresses out over the rain on his wedding day, but his family makes it right. (Series Finale)
I was laugh-crying through so much of this episode. Especially Moira's officiating outfit and her tears.
We need this show in these dark times, and it breaks my heart that it's gone now, but I look forward to rewatching the season. It's so wonderful to see the way the Roses have become a family., and widened that family, too.
The after-special definitely made me bawl like a baby. God, I'm going to miss this place.

Watching the Chris Elliott video makes me want to see him playing a dotty professor.
We loved this episode. We howled with laughter from the beginning. Plus tears. Plus laughter. The happy ending? OMG. And the sign at the end made me laugh and cry at once. It was perfect.

I feel like this episode didn't get me in the feels as much as it should have. Like, I think knowing all season that this was the final season has distanced me from it in some way, like a self-defense mechanism. Maybe once the season gets added to Netflix and I can do a full series re-watch, I'll feel differently.
Moira's officiating outfit was a crowning achievement though, no question.

I'm so sorry that this show didn't get more FanFare attention (and that I didn't think to look for it until just now). What a lovely series and what a lovely finale.

I feel bad for not participating in the FanFare threads more, but we started this late and just caught up in time for the finale.
It seems like this would have been a FanFare favorite!

This was a good finale but honestly the previous episode hit me way harder.
Definitely going to miss this show.

What a lovely ending to a fantastic show. I cried harder at the previous episode, but I thought the finale hit all the right notes. I hope someday they'll do a "where are they now" special just for the heck of it.

Who would have thunk that Stevie would have been the fan stand-in regarding feeling all the feels this last season.

Congratulations to Schitt's Creek for hitting a grand slam with the bases loaded last night at the Emmys plus a hat trick plus a 2 pt conversion. Pretty amazing for a comedy that most viewers sobbed through the last two episodes.

Patrick singing Mariah Carey in his vows!
(I did not buy that David didn't know what dress Alexis planned to wear for the wedding, but this was mitigated by her face as it slowly dawned on her that the tulle headdress was obviously a veil. And by David snapping at Stevie that she works for him today.)
Perfect ending. Loved it.
