Be still my heart. John, with his hair done (and with the product darkening it to something closer to his natural colour), standing with good posture and wearing a white tie. I didn't realize I needed to see that but apparently I did. Darn, the odds don't look good that we'll get that again.

Mick, we liked your hair, too, but you are really getting shorted screen time and opportunities to interact with your crewmates. His character is really on the way out, isn't he?

I don't remember Joey on Friends wearing a sweater as ugly as the one Nate sported. Stripes were more of a Chandler thing (as was the distinctive phrasing), but those were often more striped shirts, and it was primarily Ross who had the complicated on-off relationship with Rachel (although we did get Monica and Chandler in later seasons). So, I guess Nate was all of the male Friends rolled together (carving out Ross' brother role for Behrad, who has a lovely singing voice). The shots at Arrow were definitely cute.

I know Shatner's Kirk is Just. So. Easy. To. Mock. But I still think Sara's delivery was just a wee bit over the top. Speaking of over the top, I liked the ladies' reactions to their enhanced cleavage. Also, I really loved Sara's eye make-up. It has given me the urge to get out some smoky pencils and try it myself, although I doubt I'd be able to pull it off.

I really liked Mona in this, and I was happy to see her back, even though her character is one that, in the past, has left me both hot and cold.

So we got scenes with Zari 1.0 and Nate and Zari 2.0 and Behrad, but we were cheated out of Zari 2.0 and John. Now, that would have been something very sitcomy: Composite Zari torn between her attraction for two very different men.

It was lovely to see Mr. Parker back. Praise Beebo for his return. And speaking of Beebo, I wonder what he thinks of other gods taking over the world. This world really needs some dedicated Beebo scholarship.

I get the feeling I was missing a joke about the name of the Android crewman in the Star Trip setting.

Not a really big joke. Matthew Maala is a writer/producer on Legends.
