This movie is not a remake of the 1981 film by the same name , but rather full reimagining of the themes in that film with a modern plot. The final credits feature stills from the original film.

This one isn't for the faint of heart. If you have issues with centipedes (looooots of them) or children being targeted in a horror film, give this one a pass. This movie got to me and that's fairly unusual so I would advise approaching this movie with caution.
