I'm enjoying the slow burn of Beau & Yasha's awkward romance. Also, watching Travis lose it over dinner with the Yetis.

Nice to have an episode that is both fun, but also sets up some real tension for next week.

Laura is so good at this - both the 'you pooping' joke reaction that she made canon, and then the message she sent 'We thought you were our friend' . . . aww

I'm not much of a Jester/Caleb shipper, but that storytime was cute (also, Travis's face was a journey).

The nearly killing oneself over a necromatic emerald (after all of the warnings!) and then turning around and befriending the yetis is peak D&D.

I don't usually watch the fan art interlude. I think every time I do, though, I end up crying. The music that plays during it is etching itself into my soul, and sometimes I just feel awe at what all the fans are doing, all these styles of art, all the different takes and different points of view of these characters that mean something to so many of these fans.

Oh yeah, the art reel is one of the things I miss the most (it gets a little Essek heavy towards the end, as much as I like the guy, fandom loves drawing him more). There's so much creativity in the fandom, one of my favorite recent art pieces is this Beau animatic (only spoilery up to the hag).
