I can't believe Mr. Rogers online doesn't have captions. Unless they are hiding

I really enjoy reading your summaries, kristi, they are as calming, interesting and heartfelt as Mr. Rogers himself.

It was great fun seeing Mister Rogers try the balance beam. "It feels like you're going to fall! Oh, boy!"
I loved him asking the kids to show him how to do a balance beam routine.
Make Believe:
I love it when the puppets step away from their sets and join the humans - it was fun to see the the hand-off from Lady Aberlin, putting King Friday back in the castle after "Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush."
I was bummed that poor King Friday didn't get to finish telling about not getting chosen for teams - but then Bob Dog came back to it and asked him to pick up where he left off. Excellent attentiveness on Bob Dog's part.
So we finally end up with the King-Woman-Dog-Boy-Girl-Reindeer-Tiger-Team. Goodness.
Favorite Quotes:
"I love seeing your face light up like that. When you love somebody, you love to see them having fun."
- Queen Sara to King Friday
Lady Aberlin: "You've never played Here We Round the Mulberry Bush before?"
King Friday: "I was never invited before."
"Kings are human too!"
- King Friday
"Wanna be on the team, fish?"
- Mister Rogers
"it's fun to think about that, isn't it? I mean when you're by yourself, you could be thinking about - What do you suppose is going on in the neighborhood of make believe? - and make up your own stories about that.
"It gives me a good feeling to be able to show you and talk with you about important things - and things that are fun. I like to think that you're making up your own kind of fun - the kind that doesn't hurt you or anybody else. Nothing's fun if it hurts anybody in any way. But what a good feeling it is when you're able to have fun with your friends."
- Mister Rogers
Music:
It was so great to hear "You Are Special." Also, the transition music coming back from the Special Olympics practice was "Everybody's Fancy" - I hadn't noticed Johnny Costa doing that before. I'm going to have to listen for more of that.
Routine:
I'm pretty sure Mister Rogers did not put any shoes on before leaving the house at the end of the show.
