These are cute. I imagine it's serving the dual purpose of providing content for Disney+, while also providing an outlet for young/apprentice directors to hone their skills in bite-size portions. It didn't look (to my admittedly untrained eye) like they were using it to foster innovation the way they do with their other shorts.
