Underachiever Erica Strange has tons of regrets in her young life - so many she's started a list. But when she shares her list with her therapist, he undertakes an unusual course of treatment: she is transported back in time and given the chance to make different decisions at pivotal moments in her life, based on her knowledge of the here and now. From first kisses to job interviews, Erica has the chance to completely remake her life or leave things as they are.

This is more than a bit like the (loved by a small contingent on MeFi) 2015 show Hindsight. Watching it, the main thing that fell flat was the bullshit soundtrack. In fact, it was eating at me until at one moment the kids at the dance were clearly dancing to "Tainted Love" except that wasn't the song. I Googled it and found that the show had a spot-on 90's soundtrack that didn't survive the licensing for streaming.

Pity, because it seems like one of the weakest parts of the show light have been a strength the first time around.

This is piffle, but it's time travel/dramedy piffle, and I have soft spots for both halves of that recipe.

I watched a few of these back in the days when it was hard for anyone outside of Canada to see the show. I liked them, and had plans to continue, but ultimately decided I did not want to keep messing around with dodgy torrents. I hoped that one day the show would be available for me to watch legally. That day is now. I am looking forward to getting back into it. It's not great TV, but I liked it, and like DOT I feel fondly for the genre.

Putting up my hand as the one person who watched the show through in its original CBC airing, and rewatched it when it showed up on a streaming service... maybe Canadian Netflix? Or CBC gem? I do love this show

Erica is a much nicer person than me.

If I could go back in time, I would torch some motherfuckers. I would light some assholes up. She lets too many people off the hook.
