Ok, not quite sure how to handle this one - it isn't S3, really, but it also really isn't S2 either. So I'm putting it as S3 specials.

This was delightful, I thought.
Level 1 characters are such fragile creatures, I always forget how scary those first few levels can be.
The understandably slightly nervous energy lead to some nice chaotic character building and interactions. Not making a lot of smart choices, but decidedly fun ones.
A powerful "forever DM gets to be the PC agent of chaos for once" move from Matt by treating INT and WIS as dump stats and going full himbo.

Oh I agree! I am enjoying Matt playing a character with a low int and wis.

A lot of CHR based casters (bard, warlock, sorcerer), a druid, and a halfling fighter who might just be the smart one of the group - I'm in!
Love seeing Matt as the chaotic instigator. Best moment for me was when Aimee asked if her character had seen the ocean before, and Aabria's reaction to encourage her to fill in her own backstory & details.

I love all of these characters and the fighter being the smartest (possibly tied with the monkey)
Orym going to 'let's not steal' to 'clearly, we need to steal from the thieves' guild' is fun, I do wonder if the fire ashari are going to be as shocked as he seems to think they will be.
Dorian seems like he's got a lot hidden going on, I wonder how much is going to come out in the next seven episodes. Will they ever figure out that Dariax isn't a cleric?

That was delightful and I'm looking forward to spending the next seven weeks watching these loveable eejits try not to get themselves killed.
Also I found myself yelling 'GET OFF THE SHIP NOW' several times, BEFORE they went into the hold, so I guess I'm invested in this charming band of nitwits.
