It was fine. It did a good job setting up the current circumstances, but it still didn't make me care for the characters. They're all just varying levels of annoying, except maybe Yolanda and possibly Rick. I know I'm supposed to feel sympathetic for Beth, getting the Tim Drake cold shoulder from her parents, especially now that her parents are splitting up, but honestly, they have her reacting more like a grade schooler would than somebody in high school. Sure, it's sad that Chuck doesn't remember her, but again, I can't really bring myself to get too worked up over it.

As for Courtney, wish Pat had said "how is being Star Girl going to pay the bills?" when they were talking about future careers. Yes, she's caught up in the excitement of her role in the JSA and wanting to take her staff-guided destiny seriously, but she really needs to tone it down a bit.

I suspect it's less the show and more me.

Yep, fine. More entertaining than The Flash at least, though that's a very low limbo bar to be passed.
