I didn't enjoy the ending to this. I watched it because I love Pat Healy in Cheap Thrills. He was really unlikeable in this one though. And the chemistry with the whole family felt off. If they'd explored them a little better the 2nd half would have worked, I think.

I just didn't go for the failed witchcraft angle.
Honestly, I'd have liked it better if it went inexplicable cosmic horror and explained nothing.
I also have minor quibbles about how they never tried that hard to break out. I mean, break the mirror, hold the shards with towels, chisel out the grout, punch those little windows out. At least try screaming for help. Sheesh.

Best end of first act twist/escalation I've seen in ages. The vibes in the first half are itchy and tense. It's a shame they didn't really know where to take it in the end. I wouldn't say this was successful, but I'll be making a point to see this team's next project because it had some real moments.
