Elizabeth Holmes is the latest in a long line of Silicon Valley entrepreneurs who've hyped and overpromised — sometimes to the point of outright lying. It's that culture, as much as Holmes herself, that's on trial.
Interesting choice to release these podcasts during the trial and then not talk about the trial.

There were actual medical patients getting actual wrong blood test results from her "exaggerations." I'm just not seeing WeWork fraud as being on the same tier as that.

I have no idea - why are you asking? It's been a while since I listened to the podcast but I don't remember this coming up!
And man... the Ian Gibbons saga was just awful. I felt that the podcast highlighted it better than the book (even though I think the book was overall the best account of this whole terrible thing).

She just had a baby in July. I’ve been wondering why he hasn’t made an appearance.
