Six years after Michael Myers last terrorized Haddonfield, he returns there in pursuit of his niece, Jamie Lloyd, who has escaped with her newborn child, for which Michael and a mysterious cult have sinister plans.

Starring a young Paul Rudd as Tommy Doyle. Directed by Joe Chapelle, who would later direct a half dozen episodes of The Wire.

Oof. Just saw this one today, have a new least-favorite Halloween movie. What an utter mess. I had so many questions, but mostly of the puzzled/incredulous variety, e.g. "why would they--?" where "they" could be characters, writers, and/or directors.
