Hawkman: less insufferable! That's nice! Though I did kinda go "Where's Kendra?" and a few other "where's X" moments. Well, you get who you get these days.

It was nice to see some very familiar faces, and a few that have faded into barely there memories (hi Hawkman). Mick Rory was very conspicuous by his absence. The production team and the actor must have really blown-up their long-term working relationship. Shame.
There were a few moments of really nice blocking and directing, especially that corridor scene with everybody popping in to offer Gideon adivce. Nice job Caity Lotz.
I could do without Biship returning, but if the tradeoff was Ray Palmer and Martin Stein and Captain Cold, well, I guess that's just the price we need to pay. Jax was a good choice to act as the guide through Gideon's memories.
