Holy shit, his trade breakdown scene was amazing. I was a little worried about the writers' grasp of stats when they cited game winning RBI, but the eventual reveal that Baek had used Lim Dong-gyu's burned bridges against him to orchestrate a master trade for a star pitcher was amazing.

I was confused about the conversation at the end? Is this like S1 Ted Lasso twist? Or is he saying, win and then we’ll tank for draft picks?

It's a bit weird. I've never been clear on whether the CEO thinks Baek is just bad luck and disbandments follow him, if he thinks Baek was incompetent and his success comes with chaos and overruns that sink the teams or what...

No spoilers. But their dynamic changes. I will say that.
