This one was, I don't know, a B+? Perfectly good jokes that just never really came together for me.

"He'll grow up to be a poolside DJ!" made the whole episode for me. The restaurant footsie scene was horrible, assault-territory and just yuck.

The show, which I love, does that quite often for me actually. The same was usually true for me for The Office as well, which is funny considering Mindy Kaling's professional pedigree.

I felt like there was a lot more funny to be had with Mindy trying to fit in with the other fellows instead of the boss/professor. The pool side DJ comment made me laugh so much. I think jokes like that are what I love about the show. The jokes that are just thrown out (Mindy's verbal vomit) with little follow up.

Which actually might be a line that I use in the future, regardless of the situation.
