The Besties: 2022's Most Anticipated Games

We're jumping into the next 12 months with gusto. These are the games we'll be watching, including some games that were on our 2021 list but didn't actually come out. Games discussed: Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, Rune Factory 5, Triangle Strategy, Elden Ring, Starfield, Skin Deep, Sonic Frontiers, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Stray, STALKER 2, Tunic, Cursed to Golf, Horizon Forbidden West, Wordle, Record of Lodoss War - Deelit in Wonder Labyrinth, Coral Island, After Life, Nine Days, Fortnite, the Analogue Pocket.
Thanks for the info. STALKER is a weird outlier in the major games stable that I have somehow managed to completely avoid learning anything about or being familiar with like, at all. After listening to this episode, I am definitely interested.

STALKER 2 - I'm highly^2 anticipating this, despite the delays, change in publishers, churn in developer company, and the "end of 2022 release" I've seen elsewhere.
The original STALKER (S.T.A.L.K.E.R.) was a revelation, and while the sequels went a little too much into a firearms ballistics simulator by (trying to) incorporating firearms maintenance, all of them are by far my favourite feel for a "realistic" shooter.
There's a fan conversion (from 2011?!) of the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. that updates the graphics/ texture-resolutions/ etc. that's not-terrible-for-a-2007-release-game. Can't seem to find it now, but NexusMods has a few from the last year or two.
Unless it's consensus DOA, I'm still going to pay money for STALKER 2.
Same with Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines: 2: The: Electric: Boogaloo: Master: And: Commander: In Seattle.
