"Plus I think it really ties the room together."

Also, either in this episode or the last one, there was a reference to an alien species that made my husband guffaw. He watches Ancient Aliens for the lolz and apparently they're always going on about this one species and then Harry makes a reference to it in the show. Brilliant.

Sahar: He had a full-grown beard. Obviously, your spaceship caused gravitational time dilation.
Max: Obviously.
Harry: Obviously, your pea-sized brain is very lonely in that cavernous skull of yours.

Ok, 'the talk' that the adoptive mother gave Astra was pretty brutal (for Astra), but a-mom wasn't being (too much) of a jerk about it. But that's still devastating.

Nice detail with Astra resetting the shorted bathroom electrical plug after the bluff suicide-by-toaster was resolved. Though I'm not sure how to turn off one those safety plugs on purpose in the first place.

This season has been ok, but [untrasncribable] is actively being more unsympathetic, and (aside from Astra) there isn't enough (effective) pushback on that.

otoh, I'm liking the kids more. Headcannon is boychild spurns pursuing a romantic relationship with girlchild because he's intimidated when girlchild actually digs boychild. After they each have a childthing of their own with other genetic/ domestic partners, they divorce said and hook up again and are great parents to their stepchildthings.

Those Baoding ball-looking "emergency kit" things - are they consumed (crumble into dust) when they are finished being used? Seems a rather trivial use for such powerful items.

Harry isn't exactly a strategist when it comes to careful use of tech/resources.
