Mods: I just realized I put this episode in as Season 3, not Season 2. Can you fix?

That was awesome! A solid action scene, all the better for being completely unexpected.

I guess if Bauhaus were frat boys instead of goths they might have written a slightly different version of “Kick in the Eye.” Poor Keefe!

My fave line in this episode was “The elixirs.”

My meta interpretation of the wildly implausible "do a wheelie to avoid gunfire" stunt of Gideon's is that, as a Hollywood stuntman, he's capable of transforming reality into a Hollywood-esque action flick whenever it suits him.

It was the cheapest laugh of the episode but I still guffawed at the barforama. A pretty decent action sequence, even though rather implausible. The Cycle Ninjas can't hit anything that's not standing still. I know it's harder to hit a moving target that most think it is but seriously, these guys shoot like SW stormtroopers.

I had bought into the online theories that Uncle Baby Billy took off to make things right with Harmon. Which, in retrospect, is as naïve as thinking his killers are using his credit cards at the outlet mall. Of course that scumbag is selling snake oil out of a U-Haul.

I live right by Winston-Salem (in Greensboro), and I was tickled by the references there. The showrunners went to UNC school of the arts, which is located in Winston-Salem. The North Carolina references are always on point in this show.

Baby Billy peeling out of that parking lot, as his trailer opens and tips over and his elixirs go tumbling everywhere, was a great moment.

In the future whenever someone spouts evo psych just-so stories about human behavior, I hope I remember to nod sagely in agreement and say that it goes back to "ancient, fairy tale times."

Poor BJ walking around with that throwing star in his skull; I hope there are still some medical professionals somewhere in that hospital to help him out with that.

My favorite line was Jesse describing how to achieve a zero kill count: "No head, no shoulders, only knees and toes, knees and toes."
