Agatha Christie's Poirot: Murder on the Links

Poirot investigates the death of a man found with a love letter in his pocket, but the plot is complicated by the theft of the murder weapon and a smug French detective who bets he can catch the killer before Poirot.
I really liked this one. The newsreel narrator at the beginning sounded so exactly like the British Pathé newsreel announcers but it turns out he’s just narrated a bunch of “newsreels” for the Poirot series. I liked that Captain Hastings got some character development. The best moment was when Poirot handed back the pipe to the French detective and told him that he’d think of Poirot every time he lit it up.

Yeah I remember having to look that up as well because it was a pretty dead on impression!
