If you're wondering why Dante Martin is hanging with the Varsity Blondes and Arn Anderson's boys, it's because his brother Darius is unfortunately injured, again.

Apparently according to Dave Meltzer, some of this episode had to be hastily rewritten after Hangman got the “COVID snot”. I choose to believe that the revealing of Rey Fenix to the House of Black was one of the last minute adds, because even though it was exciting, it had this goofy community theater energy that seemed out of place with HoB’s menace. I swear, this really should culminate with Fuego del Sol joining officially to make it The Death Quadrilateral, as a mirror image version of the Blackpool Combat Club.

Man I love the whole Hookhausen angle but there's got to be some reason they don't just let them wrestle. Is it that Danhausen's knee still isn't ready?
