I remember thinking when this came out that I would have given good money to have some media journalist ask Ewan McGregor, with a perfectly straight face, about the effects they used to make his head turn into a flaming skull like that.

This is one of my favourite movies. It makes it so visceral: being on a ferry, the dynamic around a powerful man like the ex prime minister, people being sharp to eachother, the dunes on an island like that....
And then how it comes full circle...
