Charles, Oliver and Mabel are back!
Charles, Oliver, and Mabel are arrested and interviewed by the police before being released and being asked to stay out of the case. While heading back to their apartments, Mabel suggests they follow the police's advice and stay away from the case. She is later invited by a woman named Alice to an art show at a local gallery and she encourages Mabel to pursue art again. Oliver runs into Amy Schumer who wants to turn the podcast into a TV series. Meanwhile, Charles is approached to play "Uncle Brazzos" in a Brazzos reboot. Later, the trio discover that Cinda has started a podcast on the three of them which encourages them to investigate in order to clear their names. Mabel reveals Bunny said "14" to her before she died. The trio break into Bunny's apartment and discover her pet parrot mimicking Bunny. When Howard and Uma walk in, the three hide and overhear them panic over a painting missing from Bunny's apartment. Sneaking through a back elevator, they return to their apartments where Charles discovers the missing painting on his wall.

I would like Mabel to be happy, but I have a bad feeling about Alice and her art collective. Maybe not a cult, but definitely worried the plan is use use "Bloody Mabel" for her notoriety. I would love to be wrong though, I think Cara Delevingne and Selena Gomez have good chemistry so far.
I was so happy when it looked like Mabel was going to insist on shutting up and lawyering up in the interrogation. I guess the writers decided the entertainment value of having some exasperated lawyer trying unsuccessfully to keep our leads in check was outweighed by the potential to dampen the constant flow of bad decisions that keeps the plot churning.
I am glad this show is back, I need this extremely silly energy right now.

Oh man, during the opening credits I was scanning for things that might be clues. This is totally going to be a thing.

I agree that Alice seems too good to be true here.

Listen. You tell me a painting is "balls forward," I'm going to expect that painting to be balls forward.
