College GameDay: Week One - Pittsburgh/Columbus Show Only

We already had a little surprise in Week 0 when Northwestern beat Nebraska, but the season really kicks off tonight with the Thursday slate, including the return of the Backyard Brawl as West Virginia visits #17 Pitt.

Two more ranked teams have warm-up games on Thursday, as #12 Oklahoma State hosts Central Michigan (MACtion!) and #22 Wake Forest hosts VMI of the FCS.

#15 Michigan State takes on Western Michigan on Friday night, and an early B1G matchup pits Illinois vs. Indiana while TCU travels to Colorado in a Big 12-Pac-12 crossover.

And then the true start of the season comes on Saturday. Almost all of the rest of the top 25 are playing (#4 Clemson waits until Monday to take on Georgia Tech), but the marquee matchup is definitely #5 Notre Dame at #2 Ohio State. Other ranked matchups include #11 Oregon at #3 Georgia and #23 Cincinnati at #19 Arkansas. #7 Utah going to Florida is the only other Power 5 matchup.

The Hokies had an absolute clown show of a game, from the assistant coaches getting stuck in an elevator to losing to Old Dominion again.
