Twenty-thousand years ago, Earth is a wondrous, prehistoric world filled with great danger, not the least of which is the beginning of the Ice Age. To avoid a really bad frostbite, the planet's majestic creatures - and a few small, slothful ones - begin migrating south . The story revolves around sub-zero heroes: a woolly mammoth (Ray Romano), a saber-toothed tiger (Denis Leary), a sloth (John Leguizamo) and a prehistoric combination of a squirrel and rat, known as Scrat (Chris Wedge).
Also starring the voices of Goran Visnjic, Jack Black, Cedric the Entertainer, Stephen Root, Diedrich Bader, Alan Tudyk, Lorri Bagley, Jane Krakowski, Tara Strong.

Oh, I am not a super fan of animated movies, but I unashamedly love this one. A favorite scene.

Most families with kids have one animated movie that they and their kid enjoyed far out of proportion to how good it actually was. This was ours.
