I watched this when it was released on home media, remember enjoying it, but couldn't tell you a single thing about it other than "that's not Mickey Rourke". This is a useful prompt to revisit it.

I really enjoyed this when it first came out - a low budget mumblecore vampire apocalypse movie that rips off the aesthetics of Malick's Badlands to a brazen degree - but I've since rewatched it twice and it's a little worse each time.

This is the film that introduced me to the work of Jim Mickle and Nick Damici. So even if this might not hold up to rewatches (I thought it was fantastic on first viewing), I definitely got something worthwhile out of it.
