The denouement was, frankly, bizarre: The moustache and the posture and the elongated vowels of the murderer... It was like Otto from A Fish Called Wanda had somehow stumbled onto the M,SW set by accident and started running lines with Angela Lansbury for fun.

Also, the town sheriff is apparently A-OKAY with half the circus staff threatening to stuff the murderer into a tiger cage.
