Céline Sciamma endeavors to ruin every other movie because no other movies are as good as the ones she makes.
It's good that this is short because considering I started crying the minute it started and basically didn't stop until it ended (and a little bit after that), I think I would've been dehydrated.
It's so beautiful and wonderful and magical. I need to watch this again.

What a sweet movie, in a low key way. I like how it is always veering away from drama so that it can be just sincere and pure. A little too much so to feel real, to me, but it's beautiful anyway. I really love the little noir scenes the kids play out.

Oh I did also like how at the end of the credits they do show a smoking fox drawing. You can't just mention a smoking fox drawing and not show it!

Showed this to my spouse tonight. It really is magical
It's a like a live action French feature film pitched like the sweet/sad opening to a Pixar movie.
