Daryl Zero (Bill Pullman) is a private investigator, and with the help of his exasperated assistant Arlo (Ben Stiller) he solves impossible crimes and puzzles. Although Daryl's a master investigator, his methods might be called frustrating.

One of my SO's favorite movies. It won me over. A cute mild comedy destined to slip through the cracks.

My late-teenager self was really, really fond of this movie. I should revisit it.

This is a wonderful and clever small film. And...it features Portland!

Love this film. Really good performance by Kim Dickens as ... let's just say in a supporting role and leave it at that.

Great film. The DVD commentary track has to be the worst ever recorded. This was the era of "the director has to do a commentary track, even if he has nothing to talk about".
