A newly-married woman becomes frustrated as her husband, a reindeer herder for an Arctic village, spends much of his time away. Desperate for affection, she visits a shaman who offers a potion that makes her irresistibly desirable, with unexpected and deadly results.

This is a really lovely folk horror film. I loved the reindeer and sled race! The movie is beautiful with lots of snowy mountains and herds of reindeer. It's a rather sad haunting tale of a newly married woman who wants to secure the love of her husband and things go terribly wrong for pretty much everyone as a result. Not really a holiday horror movie, but all the snow, reindeer, and sleighs make it holiday adjacent enough to count.
