This is definitely a Darren Star series - just like Sex and the City, I can't stop watching, but I'm not sure I'd want to be friends with anyone on the show. It's an easy watch, but there's certainly not much of substance here. I do kinda enjoy seeing the various marketing ideas that Emily comes up with, though.

I could see myself being friends with Alfie. He’s a bit irresponsible, but he has big feelings and seems decent.
