For a awhile this was my favorite movie ever. Maybe still, who knows. Turkish and Tommie are such a great pairing at the middle of things, with Statham's constant expression of disbelief/disgust at every single thing... it's what makes it great. Best not to reflect on Statham or Ritchie's careers since.
Also for the rest of my life when I see the phrase "all bets are off" I think of the woman in the betting office pointing to the board behind her (and knowing which words are on which side of her head from the camera's POV lol).

Immensely re-watchable. Guy Ritchie definitely peaked with this movie.

The replica scene is indeed a classic. Vinnie Jones is so great. I will probably post The Midnight Meat Train at some point.

Though it verges on dad-joke material, Dennis Farina's "What do you have to declare?" dialogue cracks me up every time.

This was big while I was in undergrad, and there was always lively debate on whether this, or lock stock and two smoking barrels, was the better movie. The consensus seemed to be whichever one you saw first, you liked better. ymmv.

Brad Pitt's entrance taking a dump behind a car is one of the least glamorous movie entrances ever.

Turkish: You take sugar?
Brick Top: No thank you, Turkish; I'm sweet enough.
