Pulitzer-Prize-winning reporter Nikole Hannah-Jones adapts The 1619 Project (previously, previously) for a limited Hulu series.
Four of the six episodes have aired, with the next two coming later this month.

I’ve only watched the first two episodes, but it seems like a little of both. The themes are the same, but this is simultaneously a more personal and more newsmagazine treatment of the material.
Nikole Hannah-Jones is someone I enjoy spending time with, and I also like seeing how print media is adapted to a visual format. So far, it seems like it’s worth watching.

It may as well have been a podcast, considering the uninspired use of visual materials available. Eyes on the Prize: Hallowed Ground is a better choice to watch.

Well, considering how many people dislike podcasts and prefer watching something, even if it's mediocre, it's a good thing this exists, no?
