This is a shark predicament movie. You know what those are. If you don't go for those, this one will not change your mind. If you do go for those on occasion, this is a better than average one. The sharks look real, the underwater footage seems very realistic, Mandi Moore is a very solid actress and so is the woman playing her sister. Some effort is made for Mandi Moore's character to have some character development. It's predictable, but done with enough proficiency that the shark scares are involving and make you jump a bit.

Looks like fun! I'll add it to my Hulu list. I'm guessing this movie happens in a universe where decompression stops while diving are less important. Also, I love the genre description of "shark predicament movie."

To me, a "predicament movie" is one where thrre isn't so much a plot as people stuck in a predicament. In this case, the predicament is sharks.

he bends and nitrogen narcosis are both major plot points, actually.
