"We are some dirty slut pigs." -Gaby (yes, they fucked).
"She didn't like when I borrowed your gardener, so she sure as fuck is not going to like when I borrowed your dick."
"You start handing out dicks on Halloween, you're going to get arrested."

Hey,. who wanted to see Jason Segal's butt again?

"You smell like bad decisions." "Please, we all do."
"So, how was the sex?"... "I didn't know, I was just joking." -Paul

"I got drunk AND stoned last night." "What, did you join a frat?" "No, it was a gay engagement party. Same same."

"Otherwise, and I say this with love, I WILL MURDER YOU."

"You think your penis is a bad boy like Neil Diamond?" "I picked the wrong guy."

"Thanks for having my back." "Thanks for pounding my front, gimme some."

I just started watching this show and I like it but I was annoyed with the daughters in this episode. I was annoyed by Alice’s disgust with her dad hooking up with Gaby but whatever, Alice is 17 and her world has already been turned upside down and shaken like a snow globe.

I was more annoyed with Meg. I understand their relationship is fraught but she didn’t invite Paul to move in. She basically told him to and it wasn’t reasonable for her to react the way she did.

Random observation I feel weird about making - seeing Gaby in her underwear made me think that was pretty underwear and I wonder if I could afford it because like me, she has a tummy and it was nice to see a person on screen who is beautiful and not size 0000.

Oh also I thought this was Harrison Ford’s best episode. When arguing with Meg, it looked like he was really struggling to be appreciative for her gesture while shutting it down.

This one really hit me -- I spent New Year's sitting with my mom and dad trying to figure out basically how much of their 80s they'll get to spend living unassisted. We settled on "a little more", but one of the first things I figured out was that the most important part was letting them have agency in the decision. As soon as Meg just made that decision, I knew it was going to blow up, and it should have. She overstepped. Way too far.

I totally called it that Alice would overhear his conversation with Tia. Which, I guess gets it dealt with, rather than hanging over the rest of the season, but I don't love. Also, pretty parallel to her screwing the neighbor boy.

And Paul's daughter, man. Well done, writers, for showing us her prior unwillingness to let him stay, until it was a situation she could control. And totally dismissing Alice (who he said reminded him of her!), which really points to her total denial that he has a life, and, practically speaking, a family where he is. Not that he didn't whiff the grandson birthday present, too. They're just totally failing to connect, but Paul, at least, generally has the self-awareness to see what's happening.

OMG, Liz's husband's speech! Way to take a gag character and make him a person, and with a totally reasonable point!

I asked DH "So, is Sean getting a job in a restaurant or are he and Liz opening up a food truck?"
