This might be my favorite episode so far, with an irresistible meta idea: what if fanfic could retcon not only canon, but reality? On the one hand, it's kind of terrifying on an existential level, but on the other, if you had the chance to become Batman's sidekick, of course you fucking would. (As long as it wasn't the Goddamn Batman, of course.) And the coda was *chef's kiss*.

The gd time travel stuff. If this was later-season 'Supernatural' you'd get an Aspect of a fundamental constant show up to intervene, or get killed trying. '12 Monkeys' you'd get the Red Forest. In the Terminator universe, you end up with 'Genisys.'
