As I've been saying since the Lucha Underground days, the two least realistic things in wrestling are Shane McMahon ever beating anyone and anyone ever beating Jeff Cobb without a shotgun.

I honestly feel like the whole "Four Pillars" thing was incredibly reactionary when it was coined and it hasn't panned out at all unless Tony Khan plans on booking those guys at the speed of Baba. Jungle Boy still feels like an "underdog" babyface and it also feels like every promo he cuts is the first one he's ever cut at wrestling school, Darby Allin doesn't know how to do anything except throw himself at people, and Sammy Guevara just flat out, no caveat, sucks ass, a bad promo whose only redeeming quality is a trait shared by most good wrestlers in the 2020s, athleticism. To repeat myself, I think it says TONS that they're booking all four of the guys into this main event because, again, none of these guys on their own is selling a PPV against MJF. It's not just that I don't believe any of those three guys can beat MJF, it's that I also wouldn't want any of them to beat MJF, so little is my babyface sympathy for them.I gotta disagree with what he says about Darby, the idea that he can't be an effective face champion or that he has no artistry or that he doesn't pop the crowd isn't borne out by the crowd reaction. They're right about Sammy though, which is unfortunate because his biggest heel trait is being a "wife guy."

Am I a bad person because I want the Hate Crimes Club to just spend the second hour in the ring beating the shit out of anyone who comes out? I think I'm a bad person.

So many feelings about the Omega/Cobb match:
1) There's just so much of Jeff Cobb, you know? AEW has bigger, taller guys but Cobb just seems denser.
2) Kenny came out to his circa-2018 music "Devil's Sky" music, used NJPW wrestling clips in his titantron, hits Cobb with a ripcord V-trigger... and now suddenly finds himself in need of a new friends when the Bucks and Hangman can't save him... could Kota Ibushi be on the way? Am I just seeing what I want to see?

Great Orange Cassidy match as usual, absorbing a ton of offense on his back and sides as usual. Does this weekly open challenge have an endpoint, though? Is someone going to actually pursue the International Title, because right now the champ is elevating the belt, but eventually the belt will need to elevate a new champ.
