Watched the first episode and willing to watch more. I’m curious to see if it will try to become more than a revenge fantasy (if it doesn’t, that’s fine, but I can’t tell its aspirations yet). I’m a little worried if it’s going to be a sort of TERF-y gender essentialist thing, so if anyone knows tell us so I can stop watching.

The storytelling style reminds me of Sens8.

I read the book and it definitely wasn't gender essentialist, quite the opposite in fact. Can't speak to the adaption of course but certainly not in the source material.

Hasn’t become that in the 4 episodes released so far. I forgot to make this show only so have asked the mods to fix that but the above comment is fine.

Wow, the fourth episode was so tense and reminiscent of so many real world protests we've recently lived through. This feels like the opposite of The Handmaid's Tale. But not an easy watch.
