Transatlantic is a seven-part Netflix series based on the novel The Flight Portfolio, itself based on the true story of the Emergency Rescue Committee.

I really enjoyed this because (1) it somehow managed to be a little lighter than its source material and (2) I knew nothing about the ERC. Now I do.

Yeah, I'm enjoying this as well. The humour makes the weight of the subject matter a little easier to handle.

I also am very glad that I don't start every morning being cross examined by Hannah Arendt about what I got up to last night.
