Reginald the Vampire: Season One Show Only

Reginald Andres (Jacob Batalon of the Spider-Man movies) is a dude who works at the Slushy Shack, pines for his coworker, dislikes his boss... and that's pretty much his life. Until Maurice (Mandela Van Peebles of those Van Peebleses) makes him a vampire. Now Reginald has to deal with a shadow world of gorgeous immortals who hate him just for being insufficiently svelte and high-cheekboned.
"Reginald the Vampire promises to strip vampires of their otherworldly, unattainable mystique, and in that regard I suppose it succeeds. The disappointment is that it doesn’t have much to offer the genre in its stead." -- Angie Han, The Hollywood Reporter
"[W]hile Reginald isn’t perfect, and its lore is a little goofy, it’s a good time and offers an interesting twist for anyone who’s hungry for more vampire stories." -- Maggie Boccella, Collider
Reginald the Vampire airs in the US on SyFy and streams via Hulu.

There are definitely pacing issues, but that could be artistic intent. Feels lower budget, but they're getting a lot of value out of its deployment.
The mythology is more or less mainstream (Ann Rice, Vampire the Masquerade, etc.) except for that powers are amplified mortal characteristics. They play really loosey goosey with it and power-levels.
The young/ innocent love plot arc gets twisty, in a good way.
The actors all play it impressively straight. Very human. Can be pretty brutally blunt, but mainly kind in the end.
