Once a year, estranged brothers Michael and Peter make a reluctant pilgrimage to the old fairground yard where their friend Sam went missing when they were boys. Both men's' lives are colored by what happened the day their friend was sucked inside the Ghost Train, never to return. This year, Michael has something to tell Peter that will cast fresh light on the incident, something that will change their lives even more than that fateful day 30 years ago...

An acclaimed 2013 short film from writer-director Lee Cronin (Evil Dead Rise, The Hole in the Ground). Starring Owen McDonnell, Steve Wall, Matthew Dillon, Sean Gormley, and Matthew Broe.

16 minutes is about my limit for horror, so this was just right. It was good, I was scared, and I liked it. There actually was a fair amount of characterization for such a short film, and the CGI (especially for 2013) was good enough that it didn't take me out of the viewing experience. Free, short, scary-- I liked it!

Yes, loved this, this was excellent! From what I’ve been hearing about Evil Dead Rise, I wouldn’t have expected the director to show the well-modulated restraint exhibited in this short. Makes me half again as excited to see it!

Evil Dead Rise is *entirely* modulation and skill. Cronin is sharp as hell.
